Harbor Hypnotherapy & Healing Life's Losses
At Harbor Hypnosis, I offer a safe and welcoming environment to help make positive changes in your life. Hypnotherapy and the Grief Recovery Method are two powerful and effective forms I use to help make major changes in people's lives.

Whether it is one or multiple losses, or wanting to make distinct and deliberate changes in behavior regarding addictions, phobias, OCD, eating issues, smoking, anxiety and many other unhealthy habits or mind sets, Harbor Hypnotherapy can significantly help.I went to one of Robin's group hypnotherapy sessions last week with staff members at Calvary Hospital.

Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy
Report
Hypnosis, sometimes called hypnotherapy, uses verbal repetition and/or mental imagery (facilitated by a hypnotherapist or one's self) to induce a "trance-like state" of increased focus. It's typically described as feeling calm and relaxing and usually opens people up to the power of suggestion, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Myths and Facts
Report
No one can control your mind, unless you let them. Hypnotherapists will give you suggestions that you want to be given, based on the Pre-Hypnotic Interview. At no point during your session will you lose control of your mind. If you hear a suggestion that you don't agree with, or don't understand, your subconscious mind will automatically reject it.
A Letter to My Brother
Report
My baby brother passed away on Friday 8/7/20. He had just turned 47. He had Schizophrenia most of his life. His life was cut tragically short by an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Robert was dealt a really bad hand in his life. I can't think of a worse possible disease than having to be trapped in your own mind.

There's nothing easy about being an introvert in an extroverted world. Introverts are constantly bombarded by social situations they would rather not be part of-but that's life! We just have to learn how to say "no" and find ways to cope with the constant stimulation in our lives. Of course, this is easier said than done!
