The Upper School theater department presents "Still Life with Iris, " a fantastical adventure which centers on a little girl's search for the simplest of things: home. All Twin Cities community members are invited to attend this concert featuring talented poets, musicians and other performers from the Hmong and African diasporic communities.

In April, Quinn Coyle 14 left his robotics engineering job and set out to experience the journey. The in-person and virtual events center around the theme "Building Inclusive Community" and are open to all students, parents/guardians, alumni, faculty and staff.

For more than 110 years, The Blake School and its predecessors - Northrop Collegiate School (1900), Blake School (1907), and Highcroft Country Day School (1958) - have provided excellent education for students in the Twin Cities area. In the early 20th century, a small group of families who wanted to prepare their children for schools in the East founded Blake (for boys) and Northrop (for girls) in Minneapolis.

LearningWorks is an educational enrichment program that prepares a diverse group of motivated and high-potential students from Minneapolis Public Schools starting in the summer before 7th grade.
Through rigorous, student-centered and culturally responsive academic programming and exposure to a college-going culture, students are prepared to successfully navigate through middle and high school with the goal of entering into and completing a post-secondary program aligned to their career goals.

Please call (952) 988-3420 to inquire about space in specific grades. Financial assistance is not available for students who enroll at mid-year. Blake seeks to enroll bright, curious and kind students at all grade levels and strongly encourages interest from families who see Blake as a good fit for their child.
