With that potential growth in mind, Gene Cotaya opened Fasteners, Inc in 1966. If the city was to grow bigger, better and busier he knew there needed to be companies available to support that growth.

Fasteners is located at 800 Dakin Street where Orleans and Jefferson Parishes meet between Jefferson Highway and River Road in the River Bend of New Orleans. Fasteners' 40,000 square foot, customed designed warehouse contains nearly 300,000 different types of fasteners in-stock every day. Serving the East and West banks, the Northshore and the River parishes, orders received by 10 a.m.
