Cancer Care and Surgical Services
Report
Non-melanoma skin cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States according to the National Cancer Institute. In 2009, over one million new cases are expected. As part of our desire to fully treat the dermatology patient, we perform full body skin exams looking for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
Medical Cosmetic Services
Report
We provide a full range of cosmetic services and sell several therapeutic skin care lines. We offer chemical peels for a variety of conditions including cosmetic rejuvenation, precancerous skin lesions, dyschromia (uneven pigmentation), rosacea and acne. Physician administered treatments like Botox for movement based wrinkles and dermal fillers for deeper, static wrinkles are available.
Laser Hair Reduction
Report
Patients scheduled for hair reduction should avoid electrolysis, plucking or hair waxing for six weeks prior to treatment. Any hair should be shaved prior to your visit. Patients should avoid sun exposure before and after treatment and should apply sunblock when going outdoors. Hyper-pigmentation, or darkening of the skin, is one of the most common side effects of laser hair reduction.
