Behind the Wheel provides professional driver education to more than 2,000 teen and adult students annually in Evansville and surrounding Southern Indiana Communities. We also offer additional options to meet the individual needs of older teens and adult drivers. Driving is by appointment only. Our free, convenient permit prep seminar is a big hit for the student that wants some classroom instruction to prepare for the learner permit test.

Program Options & Costs
Report
Includes optional permit prep seminar, required permit paperwork (CDE form), the online course, 6 hours of one-on-one driving instruction and the State-required drive test in Behind The Wheel's vehicle. The student must be 100% complete with the online course before we will schedule any drives.
As per State regulation, you must achieve an 80% average on both the online course and the six hours of driving in order for Behind The Wheel to administer the drive test.If you have prepaid for the test and do not achieve this average, we will refund this portion of payment and you will have to take the test at the BMV in your own vehicle with a BMV examiner.
