The firm dates back more than 70 years, when locally raised Ted Zelasko and Ernie Ingram brought their then combined 18 years of separate legal talents together to form the county's first non-related law partnership.

Grays Harbor County is one of 39 counties in the State of Washington. As of 2010, the population of Grays Harbor County was 72,979. The county seat is located at Montesano and its largest city is Aberdeen. Grays Harbor County takes its name from the broad, shallow bay that drains five rivers in southwest Washington, and that bay was aptly named after its discoverer, Captain Robert Gray.

The Superior Court has exclusive original jurisdiction in all civil matters involving amounts over $75,000; title or possession of real property; legality of a tax, assessment or toll; probate and domestic matters; original jurisdiction in all felony criminal cases with jail terms of up to 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years to life in a state prison; original jurisdiction in all criminal cases when jurisdiction is not otherwise provided for by law; exclusive original jurisdiction over juvenile matters; orders for protection from domestic violence; appeals from the courts of limited jurisdiction on the record for error of law.
