We offer many different types of pottery classes, services and activities for the ceramic artist and beginner. These include Adult Potters Wheel Classes, one-time wheels, groups, pottery and ceramic workshops, parties, and corporate team building - as well as studio time at our Stafford (less than 10 minutes Southwest of Houston).
We have nine potters wheels, three kilns and an artist gallery. And, about your pottery teacher, Karen Cruce, she has been a potter for 26 years and teaching for 22 of those years. Why is this important? Well, she loves creating unique art and teaching you how to do the same. Of course, we don't want to brag and imply that we are the best studio in the Houston / Sugar Land Area, but if the shoe fits.

We are a little hard to find the first time & can not be seen from Dulles. The best way to get to us is to turn on our side street, Ludwig. Immediately behind the ShopNGo you will see a metal building inside a black fence & our name is above the door. If a student cancels 7 days prior to class, a refund will be given less a $15 handling fee.

There are numerous decisions to make in selecting the right clay - decisions which are usually aided by experimentation, trial-and-error, and your Potters' Place Instructor. From the enormously popular Velvet Series to Majolica Gloss Decorating Colors, Amaco underglazes produce a wide variety of finishes.
The Potters
Report
The love of ceramic art and pottery started as a selfish need and has matured into my life's aspiration. My goal as a ceramic artist is to enrich other people's daily lives with quality work that is functional, enjoyable, and pleasing to the eye. Each piece of pottery reflects it's own energy and spirit.
