The Oaklands Swim Club in downtown Newark, Delaware, is a member owned community pool and social club. Anyone can become a member! The club is open every day from Memorial Day through Labor Day, from noon to 9:00 pm (with a few exceptions - please see our pool hours page) and is staffed by knowledgeable pool managers, certified lifeguards, and certified pool operators.
Call us at (302) 366-8365 during pool hours. The main pool consists of a 25-yard, 5-lane pool and a diving area. There's a separate kiddie pool, a full bath house, and several recreational and convenience amenities. We are a very social club with a calendar of social events for both kids and adults.

Swim Meet Schedule & Info

Directions to the SSL member swim clubs are located on the Suburban Swim League's website. Wednesday meets start promptly at 6:00 pm, swimmers are expected to report at 5 pm for warm-ups. Saturday meets start promptly at 9:00 am, swimmers are expected to report at 8 am for warm-ups. We need volunteers at ALL meets.

The Oaklands Swim Club is managed by the Board of Directors of the Oaklands Pool Association and our Pool Manager. Please contact any member below via email with any concerns, questions, or ideas. The pool thrives on feedback and constant improvement to be the best swim & social experience we can be!
Guests & Rentals
Report
The fee for each guest regardless of age is $5. Each guest must be accompanied by a member aged 14 or older. See Pool Rules for more information. The pool is available for rental by members for private parties. These parties may held during or after regular pool hours. Contact the pool manager if you are interested in scheduling a party.
