I have been asked to put a mask on before but never to take it off.
Called ahead to ensure they had a Benelli SBE3 and with luck they did! So I traveled to the store to take a look. I was in the store five minutes browsing guns when approached by an employee and was asked to take my mask off. When I said no, absolutely not, he asked me to leave.
Online research shows that you need to either take your mask off once so the camera can identify you or when purchasing a gun - not for the duration of the visit.
1.) You turned masks into a political issue and by doing so put your employees and patrons

Looked all over the state for the gun I wanted and they had it here. Talked to Jane over the phone and she was very accommodating. Drove over two hours to purchase and from the time I walked in the door her and her staff made me feel like I was a frequent customer. Will definitely be keeping them in mind for future purchases.

They would not sell me 9mm ammunition that was in stock because I did not have my pistol permit. I own a Ruger PC Carbine. Won’t be going back.

I was excited to hear about Calamity Jane’s in Hudson Falls, NY. Though over an hour drive away, I called the store and spoke to Jane, the owner, about a specific lever action rifle manufacturer. She was very informative and invited me to her store to review current inventory. We drove to the store that afternoon, and a puzzling sign was posted on the door indicating to NOT wear a mask when entering store.
Well, I wear a mask as I believe it is the right thing to do. I entered the store with my mask in place. I had not taken three steps into the store and I was confronted by a male attendant

The staff is rude and customer service is poor. The woman who owns the store also had a very bad attitude. I purchased a Ruger PC Carbine rifle and and 2 shotguns from Calamity Jane's. The shotguns both work fine, but the rifle does nothing but jam everytime it was fired. I reported the problem to the owner and she suggested trying several different types of ammo through different magazines as a way to troubleshoot the issue. This advice makes sense, so I did exactly what was suggested and wrote down all of the results...gun still jammed just about everytime. I went back to the store and told the

Went in the first time and was impressed with the selection though not the prices and asked if they would take a trade as my father wanted a new deer rifle as he was getting older. One decent staff member helped me before the owner talked to me and said bring it back in another Day as they were busy and I agreed. So I Came in a second time when the owner wasn’t present and they again were busy so I politely left. Third attempt to do business the owner still acting frantic with no one in the store behaved as if I was wasting her time even though I knew what I wanted. She then talked down to me

Been here quite a few times over the last two months for ammo and have been looking for a new long range rifle. Their prices are insanely high in my opinion for both ammo and guns. I also have not had any good experiences with their customer service. Which is unfortunate as I do spend quite a bit of money on guns and ammo and always like to support a local business.

Good selection of firearms and good selection of ammo, unfortunately the place does not allow you to wear mask and will kick you out if you attempt to do so. Saw no signs asking you to social distance and saw no hand sanitizer, they claim it’s for security reasons but I think they are anti maskers and do not think corona is a threat, due to their obvious lack of concern. Will not return and do not recommend entering the store if you do not want COVID.
