We've been roasting coffee since 1992. Founder Tim Hurd had been in the coffee industry for some time when he discovered a Royal #5 roaster in an antique store in Hebo, Oregon, and came home to set up shop where he was raised. After 15 years of steady growth and countless cups of coffee, we moved our company into a beautifully renovated historic building in the Uniontown district of Astoria.
We and our growing handful of awesome employees roast a wide variety of coffees for a wide variety of coffee drinkers. From single origin roasts that showcase the inherent flavors and qualities of specialty coffee to traditional dark roasts and blends. We source through importers and through an increasing number of direct trade relationships, where we have a transparent connection with the people who own the farms; who grow the coffee.
