About
Report
Kiwanis Camp WA-RI-KI is a natural forested environment for educational and physical recreational programs for children, families, community and church groups. Our Mission Statement: Our non-profit is committed to providing an outdoor experience that offers optimal child development and community growth through recreational, educational and leadership opportunities.
History
Report
The camp's grounds were used as an Honor Camp for inmates of the Larch Mountain Honor Camp after it was built in the 1950s and into the 1960s. In 1973, the grounds were turned over the Kiwanis organization to run a camp serving children with special needs, as well as the elderly. Over the years it has transformed into an outdoor school setting where many local school districts utilized the facilities.

Now you can help us add amenities (new playground, new archery course); do maintenance (kitchen upgrades, septic fields repair); and get set for a bright future (we're planning a major construction project for a new dining hall meeting lodge).
The Human Bean Coffee Fundraiser
Report
We have a lot in common with our program sponsor, The Human Bean. They rely on the health of the world's rain forests to grow and produce wonderful, sustainable coffee beans. We also rely on forest health to deliver programs to youth and adults to teach them how to be good stewards of our environment.
