It's hard to pick one particular haircut to be my favorite. I like them all honestly. I guess my favorite haircut is whatever haircut looks best on my client. I love figuring out what looks best on each individual person. I truly enjoy giving someone the haircut they have envisioned and customizing it too look good on that particular person.

I have been cutting hair for 18 years. I got my start working in salons doing women's cuts, colors and various beauty treatments. I then went on to become an educator for the cosmetology program at Miller Motte Technical College. I loved my students and learned a lot during my time there, but after a while I decided I was up for a new challenge.

I've been in the cosmetology/barber industry for 9 years now. I knew when I was very little that I was passionate about pursuing this as a career. I began studying cosmetology in high school, and I never looked back. I recently transitioned out of a solo barbering business so I've really enjoyed the vibrant, group atmosphere here at White Oak Barbershop!

When I toured professionally within the music industry I noticed a lot of new hair styles worn by some of the most popular groups in the U.S. I really enjoy seeing the new waves of fashion, the newer modern styles, as well as older classic haircuts make their way back into action.
