With the support of our outstanding personnel and loyal customers, Greiner Industries has evolved from a one-man welding shop to a world-class steel fabrication company with approx. 300 talented employees on a 200-acre industrial complex with over 450,000 square feet of "under-roof" work area. The business was initially named "Frank Greiner Welding & Fabricating".
Thanks to his talent and unwavering commitment to making quality products, Mr. Greiner's business quickly grew. Within two years, Mr. Greiner constructed a 30,000 square-foot shop along PA Route 230 near Elizabethtown. It housed welding, custom metal fabrication and millwrighting operations. Blasting and painting facilities soon followed.

Greiner has been serving Lancaster, York, Hershey/Harrisburg and up to a 200 mile radius from our Mount Joy, PA location for more than 45 years. We have over a dozen sizes of cranes which are rated from 45-ton up to 600-ton, with many combinations of boom length up to 478.3'.

In fact, many of our customers are other fabricators that turn to us for support on their large-scale jobs. We also like to take on the not-so-big jobs so our shop is always running steady.

We're able to build girders up to 12 feet deep, 150 feet long and weighing up to 140 tons. Our Girder Welder Gantry utilizes a 5/32-inch diameter single or tandem submerged arc welding process. This significantly reduces our labor and your cost. We have AISC Certification for the fabrication of Complex Steel Building Structures and Advanced Major Steel Bridges with Fracture-Critical and Sophisticated Coatings Endorsements.
