Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Many acupuncture points are below the knees and elbows, so they are easily accessible. Also, make sure you eat before your treatment and avoid vigorous exercise for 1-2 hours before and after treatment. First Visit

During our first session, we'll discuss any current complaints you're having, including any current or past medical conditions, and come up with an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. This initial consultation lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by an acupuncture treatment (30 minutes). Wear loose or comfortable clothing for easy access to acupuncture points below the knees and elbows.

Though we are not contracted with any insurance companies, we are happy to provide you with a specialized receipt ("Super-bill") for your insurance company that includes all the necessary information. We recommend you contact your insurance carrier to determine whether or not they will reimburse you for acupuncture care for "out-of-network providers."
