Laurance Rockefeller, an avid golfer and resort property pioneer, saw a diamond in the rough when he purchased the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club in 1967. In 1971, Rockefeller contracted Robert Trent Jones Jr. to develop a major remodeling plan for the original Bob Baldock designed course. In 2004, Jones was contracted once again for a second redesign of the course.
Rates & Dress Code

The golf course opens early May and closes mid October. Tee times can be made 1 month in advance by calling the pro shop. When making tee time reservations please provide all player names. Guests who do not show for a tee time, or have not cancelled 4 days in advance shall be subject to their greens fee charge.

The Jackson Hole Golf Academy offers a wide variety of instructional programs to meet the needs of men, women and juniors - from beginners to amateur competitors to touring professionals. Also inquire with the Pro Shop about our various clinics offered throughout the summer! Please note that we also offer professional lessons from Mark Bradley, brother of LPGA legend Pat Bradley and father of 2011 PGA champion, Keegan Bradley.

With day two of clean up work continuing, it is clear that the shear amount of debris will take some time to address. We were able to open the golf course this afternoon and have hopes that remaining snow will melt quickly as temperatures warm allowing us to let carts out tomorrow. Please understand that despite the course being open there will still be staff members working on debris clean up for the foreseeable future.
