East End Veterinary Center is a fully-staffed, 24-hour emergency and critical care facility for dogs and cats. Equipped with experienced emergency staff and state-of-the-art technology, we are prepared to assist your pet at a moment's notice. At East End Veterinary Center, an emergency veterinarian is on staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year-your pet is never alone.

We've partnered with the Veterinary Care Foundation to create the East End Angels Fund. Unlike other veterinary charities, 100% of every contribution to the Veterinary Care Foundation and its member practices go directly to improving the quality of life of pets and their people; all Foundation operating expenses are met by membership dues paid by veterinarians.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicinal technique used to stimulate the immune system and local nerves, relax muscles, adjust blood and lymph flow, and release endorphins.

Many diseases and injuries can benefit from acupuncture including orthopedic diseases (osteoarthritis), neurological conditions (seizures, intervertebral disc problems), gastrointestinal diseases (inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea, vomiting and constipation), and respiratory problems (asthma and bronchitis).Patients undergoing chemotherapy can also be treated with acupuncture to support the immune system and decrease adverse side effects.

At East End Veterinary Center, we strive to provide a multitude of treatments options in order to create a plan that works for you and your pet. While surgery is often necessary to correct an issue, we fully believe in the benefits of alternative medicine and offer them to either replace or complement a more invasive procedure.

Our blood donor program was established to offer hospitalized pets access to life-saving whole blood products without having to wait for a delivery from the blood bank. Timely treatment can often mean the difference between life and death when pets are faced with a critical injury or illness that requires a whole blood transfusion.
