We would like to encourage at least one person from each family to attend this forum. We recognize that parents want to schedule in advance and we are striving to meet your needs. Watch for it in August. The teachers, staff and board of the Waldorf School of San Diego are united against injustice in all its forms, including racial injustice.

The teachers, staff and board of the Waldorf School of San Diego are united against injustice in all its forms, including racial injustice. As a united school serving students and families from early childhood through high school, we whole-heartedly stand for the principles outlined in the recent statement from Wecan (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America).
Our School
Report
To awaken each student's capacity for love of learning, for independent thinking, and for heartfelt service to the world. We are guided by our understanding of human development, as elaborated by Rudolf Steiner, as the foundation of our work. The pace, priorities, and practices of our full curriculum, Early Childhood through High School, grow out of this foundation.
Organization and Leadership
Report
At the Waldorf School of San Diego, we believe that the process of how we work together is as important as what we learn in the life of a school community. Because our organization is not hierarchical, governance primarily depends on healthy interpersonal and intergroup relationships. We strive to promote healthy relationships, so it is essential to understand collectively, our mission, vision, values, and goals as a school community.
Audited Financials
Report
In all that we do, first and foremost, we are a Waldorf School, and follow the educational principles articulated by the founder of the Waldorf School movement, Rudolf Steiner, based on his insights from anthroposophy. We recognize that the ultimate success of our school will be educating our students to lead and serve the world in truth, beauty, and goodness.
Waldorf History
Report
He was the founder of anthroposophy, Waldorf education, biodynamic agriculture, anthroposophical medicine, and the new artistic form of eurythmy. Steiner advocated a form of ethical individualism, to which he later brought a more explicitly spiritual component. Even as a young man, Steiner already supported the independence of educational institutions from governmental control.
