I am Melissa and this is my feral cat Floki, I adopted her after she was returned to a local shelter and scheduled for euthanasia. I opened Finicky Felinz in 2016 to continue providing pet care to my existing client base when the large company I worked for closed. Prior to that I was a drug and alcohol counselor for over twenty years.

Cats are very complicated creatures and it doesn't take much to trigger behaviors we would rather live without. It can be very frustrating when our furry friends are scratching or peeing on our belongings. Hiding, hissing, biting, scratching, the list goes on. The temperamental nature of the feline is why we love them, still many forms of cat behavior can become overwhelming to live with day to day.

Each cave or bed is hand felted through an artistic process that creates a unique bed that will quickly become your pets favorite. Periodically, run your hands over the surface and remove any bits that may pop up. Heat will shrink, cold water will stretch it. Be creative and shape it any way you chose.

We service the East Bay including; El Sobrante, San Pablo, Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington, Emeryville, Berkekley, and Oakland. We love all animals! And can provide care, with proper instructions, to most birds, snakes, reptiles, and fish. We offer dog walking on a limited basis.

We will visit your pet/s for the agreed upon duration/frequency noted in the QuickBooks invoice for each sit.
