We occupy the entire 7 floors of our townhouse - and a Brooklyn warehouse - but many people who visit us are so smitten by the main showroom that they don't realize there's more to see on other floors! The second floor is our gallery, filled with hundreds of thousands antique maps, prints, posters & paintings.

On our main floor and basement we have over 60,000 out-of-print books on all subjects - fiction, biography, art, architecture, poetry, philosophy, etc. Overlooking the main floor is a mezzanine housing fine bindings and leather-bound sets. Our 5th floor features our First Editions department, including English and American firsts from the 19th - 21st centuries, and our History department, covering all aspects of American and European history.

The Argosy Gallery, located on the second floor of the book store, has one of the most extensive collections of antique maps in New York City. A small selection of our materials are available online, but these are merely a sampling of the vast quantity of maps, sea charts, atlases and globes in our collection.

We have an enormous collection of autographs of celebrities - past and present - from all fields of endeavor: politics, sports, music, theatre, science, literature, law, history, etc. We have everything from simple signatures on photographs to inscribed books and letters and manuscripts; many are already attractively framed by our renowned framing department.
