This room was the most immersive, scary escape room experience that I have ever done! This business is ran by university professors and college students and I think that is amazing. Dino(?) was our gamemaster and he did not disappoint with making the room as immersive as possible! Upon arrival to explaining instructions up til the point of the start of the game, there was already such an eerie feeling...but it was something so cool that I havent experienced from an escape room before! Felt like I was really in this scenario! I usually review escape rooms based on staff, decor, puzzles, and overall

Our party of 5 did the Battle of Xu'Qua and we had such a blast with Dylan as our host! Shout out to Dylan for being hospitable and hilarious! He had as laughing and boosting our morale through out the whole game. We were able to be successful in beating the escape room and no friendships were broken! We're definitely coming back for the other rooms and requesting Dylan!

Really engaging puzzles for everybody. Our game master Jonathan was very helpful while still staying perfectly in character. Was very clear with what to expect in the beginning and made sure everyone was okay before the game started.

Just got done with the Hostage escape room! The four of us had a great time and were able to escape with about 9 minutes to spare (with a few hints here and there from our wonderful game master Dylan!). The room was definitely a little on the scarier side but nothing too crazy for us to handle (though one person in our group had to draw the short straw, so to speak, and might disagree with that hahaha). Overall we had a great time and are looking forward to doing the other rooms that Edscapade has to offer! Thanks again Dylan for the great experience!

#service - 5/5
#value - 3.5/5
#recommendation(s) - please take this with a grain of salt as I've only tried Hostage and I've only done ~10 escape rooms. It looks like B.o.X has the easiest level of difficulty so I'd go with that if you have a good amount of beginners. Hostage is a good in between if you have a mix of beginners and advanced players. I think it'll be too easy for groups that are all advanced and proficient with escape rooms.
#tip - be prepared for a lot of darkness and more interactions than your average escape room.
#context - came here to try out an escape
