There is no doubt that learning an instrument for the first time is a challenge. Returning to an instrument after many years can pose even more hurdles. My constant underlying duty as a teacher is to give my students the perspective that these challenges are what drive us and that the pathways to deep understanding in music, creativity and self can be fun and even easy.

24 hours notice is required for cancellations and rescheduling. No shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full lesson fee. Please kindly let me know if you wish to discontinue lessons or take a break longer than 2 weeks. Uncleared funds or bounced checks must be dealt with within 48 hours to maintain your regularly scheduled time slot.

That's all I'm doing right now. Via Zoom or Facetime. We could try Google Meet too. I have the distinct privilege of doing all my work online, and I will continue to do so until it's absolutely 100% safe to return to in person lessons. Kids are the future and they're super fun to teach music to. I take pride in my ability to relate to and communicate with kids of any age.
Guitar Lessons

My guitar lessons are 60 minutes long. I am currently only offering lessons in your home or studio. I can readily travel within Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater Village, and Los Feliz. For lessons outside of that area, please Contact me and I will do my very best to accommodate. For children under 7 years of age, I might suggest a 30 minute lesson.

I often incorporate some level of insight to tones and sound production techniques into my regular instrument lessons, but advanced professional musicians and beginners alike can benefit from focused tone shaping instruction.
