Adventure Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center and we are proud to offer the PADI Open Water Diver Course here in New York City. The program consists of two elements; Knowledge Development / Pool Training, and then Open Water Dives. Knowledge Development establishes the principles and basic information all divers need to have fun and dive safely.

The first step in the certification process is the completion of the PADI eLearning course. PADI's on line class consist of 6 sections and is completed at the students own pace. Online PADI courses allow you to complete this portion of the PADI requirement for certification as an Open Water Diver in the comfort of your own home.

Enriched Air Diver

PADI's Enriched Air Diver course is the opportunity to learn how to safely use enriched air. By diving with enriched air - nitrox rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater safely. For example, if you dive to 50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes.
Advanced Adventure

The Advanced Open Water Diver course or Adventures in Diving as it is being referred to now is meant to allow students to explore other diving related interests and increase comfort and experience under the direct supervision of a diving professional. Adventures in Diving is just that, a collection of experiences guided by your instructor and by your interests.
