Rushing Duck Brewing Company is a small, family owned and operated brewery located in the Historic District of Chester, New York that began selling beer in August of 2012. Based in Orange County, our beer is distributed throughout the Hudson Valley exclusively by Gasko & Meyer Inc. We produce a wide variety of tasty beers.
First and foremost we brew beer that we like to drink. We hope you do too. Hey! We're almost out of War Elephant! Order yours online for pickup or delivery. We are CLOSED today at Duck In, but will be open Thursday-Saturday 12-6 and Sunday 12-5 for pickups and outside seating. Deliveries will go out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (today's deliveries will go out tomorrow).

Tasting Room
Report
Our Tasting Room is a great place to try all our beer, meetup with friends, and grab some beer to go. We sell samples, glasses, crowlers, and sometimes cans and bottles. We also have swag and occasionally you'll find a limited beer/cider that you can't get anywhere else. Chester is an ideal location as it's accessible both to the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey.

Berliner Weisse 4.6% 16oz A traditional German sour that is wheaty and lemony like a tart lemonade. Try it with a Wooddruff syrup which is traditional with tea, vanilla and mint. Dry Hopped on Planet Funkotron 5.2% 16oz Aged for a year, we dry hopped this wild beer with Galaxy. Has a bright citrus taste with a subtle funky tartness.
Our Beers
Report
5.2% ABV - Naysayer is a West Coast styled pale ale. With over 2 lbs. of hops per barrel, it has more hoppy character than most IPAs, but with a modest ABV, medium-light body, and 35 IBUs it maintains the drinkability of a great Pale Ale. It has a deep golden hue, an effervescent citrusy/floral aroma, and just enough malt character to keep the hoppiness in check.
