After-Fx Professional DJ Service came to be in the summer of 2009, when DJ Chip Aldrich attended a benefit party where the band was a no show, and the DJ's that were already there, loaded up and left early when there was a packed house. Vowing to never let this happen on his watch, Chip began working to get the new DJ business up and running.
