We chose to join this practice in order to birth at Manchester memorial. We were so grateful to have Jess Bridge the midwife deliver our baby. She was so supportive, upbeat, encouraging and fantastic. She also was able to squeeze me in last minute for a BP check for my pre-eclampsia. Our only qualm is the way they do billing which was a deposit instead of an after bill where we paid a deposit last year, and then when our insurance changed in January we were told 3 days before giving birth that we now owe more money because of the insurance change. I would have rather they ran our insurance through

I really liked this midwife. She was very sweet, understanding and empathetic. I felt i was discussing my pregnancy journey with her. Instead of being told what to do, i felt i had options and that i was in control. She remind me of Dr.Calvo. She is 110 percent.

I am truly grateful for everything that the staff has done for me. Every person I met there is super nice. Josie took really good care of me at my very first visit. The staff is very knowledgeable and communicate information so it can be understood. They really do care about their patients. I would recommend the OBGyn Group to everyone.

I only like a couple of Dr's. and nurses. I don't like everyone there due to very opinionated and unprofessional feedback I have recently received during my last visits. I don't like the rotation schedule the office does with their employees because meeting them one time isn't a good opportunity to get to know someone when you're only in the room with them for about half hour each visit. I also don't like the fact that billing messed with my finances. When I originally met with billing around July of this year they said I didn't need to pay the whole thing until Oct. 27th of 2022. I've been a patient with OBGYN Group of Eastern Connecticut, P.C. for 35 years now. I was 21 when I first became a patient of Dr. Steven Grady. I went on to deliver two children and have multiple procedures/surgeries over the years by Dr. Grady and Dr. Hancock. I've been seeing Dr. Martin Hancock since he delivered by second child, 23 years ago. I find him to be incredibly kind and compassionate.
He takes the time to ask questions, to really listen, and gives feedback in a non-rushed manner. He demonstrates a bedside manner and calmness that has become rare in the rat race of practicing medicine

A warm and welcoming environment. Dr Hancock makes you feel comfortable and like he truly cares about you. Wait time can be long, but thats because you know they are treating every patient with the care and time that you want so just take a deep breathits worth it! I strongly recommend. I wish I knew about Dr Hancock when I had my boys!
