The practice was founded by Dr. Ana Martinez who has devoted her life to helping people attain excellent oral health and to improve their lives by giving them smiles they can be proud of.

Originally from Peru and with an international background, Dr. Ana Martinez graduated at the top of her class from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru in 1997. She pursued a two year hospital-based residency in dentistry, followed by an internship at Universitaet Witten/Herdecke, in Germany.

BEWARE!!!! While Dr. Riviera and her staff are polite and friendly, Dr. Riviera runs her practice more like a business than a place where one wants to receive medical care. During the couple of months that I went to this office, I received excessive care that was clearly meant to just charge me and my insurance more money. For the first time ever I was put on a 4 month cleaning schedule, had fillings replaced that were under 3 years old, and was told that I had a "serious cavity" that needed filling. I was okay with all the adjustments to my usual cleaning, but when I was told I had a bad cavity

I avoided dentist visits at all cost, but Dr. Ana Martinez and her entire team have completely changed my ways. I have never been at such ease at a doctor’s office. Not only was every part of the visit painless - even the novocaine shot was easy - but the office environment is joyful and supportive. All my questions and concerns where thoroughly answered and I felt in excellent hands the entire time. I had an exam, a cleaning, and 4 fillings and left the office feeling great. I can’t recommend this practice enough. I will no longer trust anyone else with my teeth! Plus everyone that works there

I am new to this dentist practice and I found GOLD! I was apprehensive of getting fast braces, but Dr. Martinez reassured me of the great success and she was absolutely right. I am coming up to 2 months with Fast Braces, and my teeth have moved so much - I'm so excited! I'm also sleeping so much better with the jaw realignment going on, it's pretty neat. The whole staff is friendly and very patient-oriented. I highly recommend getting Fast Braces, so much quicker than Invisalign and it works! :)

Dr. Martinez and her colleagues have been so professional and supportive in helping me take care of my dental health. Also trying to make an appointment is ridiculous very unprofessional!
I have great dental insurance and I will not be returning to this office again. Simple procedures that could be done in 1 day they cannot accommoplish. the Dr. and Hygienist want you to return consecutive times for a cleaning because the front office staff overbooks their day and cannot complete your appointment for a simple teeth cleaning.

Terrible service! I do not recommend this place at all. Pretty disorganized and the staff doesn't know how to treat people. They don't care about their clients. First, they mess up my appointment. I got there on time and they never put me on their calendar. Instead of having just one appointment they divided into two.

I had to have some extensive dental work done. I was nervous about it and a bit anxious while in the chair. Dr. Ana MartÃnez was and is so kind, so professional. She helped me to feel at ease and very comfortable.

I had severe tooth pain and visited Dr. Martinez on short notice. She had to refer me to a specialist who treated me immediately and with good results. I returned to Dr. Martinez for regular dentistry needs and the treatment was professional and pain free. Her staff is delightful and efficient. It is nice to have such friendly Dental service right on Coast Village Rd.

Dr Martinez is a very knowledgeable, caring, professional and responsive dentist. Her work with my issues has been outstanding. In addition, on a holiday, in an emergency, she found a way to get me into a great endodentist the next day, walked me through the issues, and get my fractured tooth extracted within 36 hours. Incredible.

Riviera Smiles is the best dental service I've ever had. I've had many different dentists after moving out of the area and no one compares to Riviera Smiles. I would recommend Dr. Martinez to everyone.

I had the exact same experience as Josh. Beware. They will provide an estimate based on a review of your insurance and then end up paying far more. In my case I would have opted for a second opinion had I known that what they submitted would be denied. I was actually told by the office that insurance often does not cover it -- would have been good to know at the time of service!!The office also submitted a charge to my insurance for a service I did not use which is super shady. I liked the office and dentist, but after this experience I can not recommend. Trust is everything with dentists and other

I have been going to Riviera Smiles for a few years now and have had nothing but great experiences. My teeth are better than ever because of Dr. Martinez and the rest of the staff. I recommended them to my Mom and she has been going there for a year or so now as well! They truly care about their patients and go out of their way to make you comfortable and relaxed while in the dentist chair. I also love that they have good music playing throughout their offices!

I always look forward to my dental visits!!! Dr.Martinez and her staff are always so warm & welcoming! Today I had my cleaning done by Magdalena and I can't help but rave about what a amazing job she did! She was gentle, did a very throw cleaning and gave me some great tips on keeping my teeth healthy between my cleanings!! I had my Invisalign treatment here and my teeth look amazing!! This review may be a bit late, however,,given my 2017 resolutions i felt compelled to get this off my chest as it has bothered me for some time. I have seen Dr. M twice . The first time was pleasant. I have many dental problems, an autoimmune disease and no dental insurance. I have been to many dentists and always they have given me dental plans that i Cannot afford nor can my mouth tolerate as i cannot open my mouth wide enough to comfortably fit partials or dentures. I have explained this many times and so thinking that Dr. M would see a different approach to my needs I came to her in 2014 I

Over the years she has repaired my receding gums, filled cavities, created a crown for a bad tooth and joyfully taught my children the best dental care practices. The office is state of the art. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!! They hooked me up big time. Kathy at the front desk, Phoebe as the hygienist and of course Dr. Riviera herself. Extremely easy to set up an appointment. They were so accommodating and professional. And then when I went in they way exceeded my expectations - taking care of my cavity in a permanent way, quickly, efficiently and expertly. Plus they were so kind and the office is lovely. You can trust this business. Big thumbs UP.

Dr Martinez is awesome!! She's knowledgable , great side manners, dedicates her time and effort to best care possible even when an emergency, which was my case while visiting the area.
Called several doctors around and all wanted to have a pre-consult, a formal appointment, etc etc
Dr Martinez's staff put me on hold while consulting with her and coordinated my emergency case.
Dr M, advised on what to do best.
After returning home, my dentist told me that the work done was impeccable.

Riviera Smiles gets a solid five star rating, my dental experience here has honestly changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. The brand new and beautiful ambience, sparkly clean atmosphere with a modern feel. It really took me back the moment I walked in, it felt like an art gallery not a cold dental office. Greeted warmly, it was very welcoming. If thats not enough the dental chairs are so modern, soft and have built in massage!

I went here recently for a cleaning and this was the best dental experience I have ever had hands down. They even have massage chairs that are great while getting any work done. For x-rays, all you have to do is stand up and bite down onto a piece of plastic and the machine rotates around your entire head. No more individual pieces crammed down your throat! New equipment, a caring doctor who takes time to aid in any way, top of the line equipment, and a friendly staff, all make this the Rolls Royce of any dental practice!
