JOIN THE GCSL BOARD This league is comprised of approx. 1,200 players and 100 coaches. To ensure the viability of this league continuing, additional board members and volunteers are required. Board role descriptions are available here. Excluding Labor Day weekend and one weekend of Fall break there will be a total of 8 game days scheduled.
Cancelled games will not be made up. Rec games are currently scheduled to be played at three locations in Grass Valley. Grass Valley Charter School hosts U6/U8 games, Scotten School U10 games, and Sierra College U6/U8, U12 and U14 games. Mautino Park and Lyman Gilmore turf are primarily utilized by our Gold Country United competitive teams and for overflow games.

Gold Country Soccer(GCS) is a member of US Club Soccer, which is a National Association member of the US Soccer Federation (USSF). The mission of US Club Soccer is to foster the growth and development of soccer clubs throughout the United States to create the best possible development environment for players of all ages in every club.
For Coaches
Report
If you registered to coach, you will need to complete the following SafeSport Certification Training. This is required for all coaches this season (even if you coached last year). In addition to the SafeSport Certification Training, you also need to complete a free Concussion Training Course. Once you have completed each training course, please email the certificate to registrar@goldcountrysoccer.org.
Field Setup / Breakdown

You should know the combo codes to the locks on your fields. If not, Email or call Fields Coordinator before Saturday. The same combo should open any entry gates (Grass Valley Charter) or divider gates (Scotten School) that may be locked. U6/U8 (Grass Valley Charter): Set up the goals and cones for your field.

The objective of this coaching education page is to provide coaches with a sample of the games/drills/activities provided on Cal North's new coaching curricula. These drills and games are provided by Jeff Pill, current US Women's National Staff coach. These games cover all topics and ages with complete training sessions geared toward various topics for youth coaches.
All-Girls Teams

Gold Country Youth Soccer is proud to announce the continuation of an all-girls league for the fall of 2021! We understand the unique needs of girls in our soccer program and we believe our new program will encourage more girls to play, will build their confidence and skill set from a very early age, and propel them to continue to play soccer at the competitive level as they grow in the sport.
