The Hartford Golf Club is a private country club located in central Connecticut just west of the State's Capital. It is the premier club in the Hartford region offering a rich tradition of sports, fine dining, and family-focused activities. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse sits on 256 acres of impeccably maintained grounds.
Golf
Report
The scope of the project was the complete renovation of 132 sand bunkers and the short game practice facility. The renovation also included the construction of 16 new tees and the rebuilding of 29 tees. Expansion of greens collars and fairways were completed in the project. Golf Course Architect Bruce Hepner was responsible for the shaping of the bunkers and location of the new teeing ground.

The Hartford Golf Club is truly a family club with over 600 children enjoying many different sports and social activities. HGC offers Junior Sports Programs in golf, tennis, squash and platform tennis. There are pool activities and a Swim and Dive Team where the kids compete against other area clubs.

At The Hartford Golf Club, we recognize that personal fitness and health is important to our members and guests. That's why back in 2007, we built a fabulous, state-of-the art fitness facility complete with cardiovascular and strength equipment. The center also features on-site Personal Trainers, Massage Therapy Services, Pilates Reformer and Aerobics and Fitness Instruction.
