Training
Report
Mikaela began her career as soon as her legs were long enough to reach a pair of stirrups, and she has spent most of her life in the saddle ever since. Throughout her life, being a horse trainer and a riding instructor is all she has ever wanted to do.

Building on the solid base that Pony Club provides, Mikaela subsequently served as a working student for several of our region's most successful trainers, including the national eventing competitor Anna Collier, and the national dressage competitor Jessica Wisdom. She is currently training with Suzan Davis Atkinson at FarmHill, with the goal of making Suzan's methods the foundation of her own approach to dressage.
Clinicians
Report
Certified by the British Horse Society and an FEI rider - the highest level of our sport - Suzan is a master trainer of equine and equestrian development, including the invaluable skills of ground work, long-lining, and in-hand work. Suzan grew up on the back of a horse. Her experiences in horse training, competing, and teaching, both as a teenager and young adult, fueled her interest to become a certified professional instructor and trainer.
Facility
Report
Our facilities at FarmHill include 34 box stalls ranging in size from 10x12 to 10x20. The configuration of our main barn offers a maximum of the "look around" opportunities that horses love - all stalls have large windows facing out to our pastures and arenas, as well as windowed stall doors facing our indoor arena.

If you are NOT hauling a horse trailer, take the I-5 exit 11 (502E/Battleground/219th) and head east on 502/219th. Because of the new highway dividers, you must travel past 37th Ave, approximately 2.5 miles, to 50th Ave where you can make a U-turn and head back toward 37th. Turn right on 37th and head north approximately 1/2 mile until you see the red FarmHill sign and white FarmHill fences.
