First off, this shop came recommended from multiple auto restoration shops in the area, none of which will be recommending it again.
For a $2,600 convertible top on an SVT Cobra I would have expected top notch service which unfortunately wasn’t the case. The only reason the review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the top itself looks good. I dropped my Cobra off freshly detailed and received it back trashed. A deep scratch (in fresh paint) along with many belt buckle scuffs in the fenders on both sides, glue dripped on the paint, glue on the driver‘s seat, tools left in the floorboards,

The first thing that stood out about this space was the customer service via phone when calling around for a quote. I received knowledgeable and professional services, I then decided to bring my car to Hot Rods Upholstery and I am so happy with the results. I waited for my vehicle and was in and out to enjoy the rest of my day off! Thank you very much Hot Rod. 🔥 🔥

This guy Rod gave me 2 prices on the phone. Soon as I got there he ups the price $50. When I go back to pick up my car a clerk charged me $50 more than the agreed price. When I ask to speak to the owner he refuses to come out the back and speak with me. A $250 job instantly went to $300, at checkout it went to $350 without any real explanation. The work Itself was just satisfactory, not exceptional. I would recommend you get your agreed price in writing!!!

We recently had the seats of two reclining chairs recovered at Rod's shop. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the work, the reasonable cost and the amount of time it took to complete the work. Our intentions were to only have one chair reupholstered, but once we saw how terrific the chair looked when he returned it, we sent in our 2nd one. It was like getting two brand new chairs for a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend this business. The owner, Rod, is really professional and most accommodating!
