Hot Stone Massage
Report
During a Hot Stone Massage, specially selected heated basalt stones are used to massage the body, providing a nurturing and enhanced therapeutic effect. The application of heat not only increases the feeling of well-being but also enables the therapist to work more deeply and more effectively with chronic pain conditions.
Massage Cupping
Report
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest healing treatments used by ancient Egyptians and Chinese doctors. An advantage of cupping therapy is that it utilizes suction, or negative pressure to pull on the underlying soft tissue and release it from superficial to deep. Cupping draws fresh blood to the area which stimulates an increase in the body's natural healing response.
Reflexology
Report
Reflexology is a historical practice that has been documented to be used in China and Egypt. It's based on the principle that there are reflexes in your ears, hands and feet that correlate to every organ, gland and area of the body. By using pressure on the reflex area Reflexology can unblock your meridians in return unblocking Qi (commonly referred to chi- your body's life force).
