Dr. Carol Hagen then purchased the clinic and changed its name to Petcetera Animal Clinic. Dr. Hagen graduated from Kansas State University in 1987. In November of 1999, Dr. Rod Gigstad moved over to Petcetera Animal Clinic from Kindness Animal Hospital where he had been employed since graduating from Kansas State University in 1985.

We also work with the Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in Fargo that offers 24 hour care. Petcetera Animal Clinic shares emergency calls with Kindness Animal Hospital (Grand Forks), Grand Valley Animal Hospital (Grand Forks), and Peterson Veterinary Clinic (East Grand Forks).

Our pharmacy has numerous medications available and a wide selection of prescription diet foods. We can also have medications compounded to increase palatability and ease of administration. Our laboratory allows us to perform several in-house tests including CBCs, blood chemistries, and SNAP tests.

Laser Therapy

Companion Animal Laser Light Therapy is a non-drug, non-invasive application of light to promote blood flow, speed healing and assist in the reduction of pain and inflammation. Using a particular light wavelength and specific delivered energy, laser light creates a direct effect on deep tissue structures and a cellular level.
