Scuba Diving
Lake Longhorn provides certified scuba diving with six underwater training platforms, multiple large boats, and swim-through structures. Our controlled environment maintains depths up to 35 feet with seasonal visibility variations, supporting skill development for all certification levels. Located in League City, TX, we require certified dive buddies and proper documentation for non-training divers.
Triathlon Training
Our 43-acre freshwater lake offers dedicated triathlon training lanes with smooth course layouts suitable for all skill levels. The facility features consistent water temperatures ranging from 50-89F, personal swim buoy requirements, and extensive green space for transition practice. Daily access is available during operating hours for individual and group training sessions.
Night Diving
Certified divers can experience night diving sessions with advance reservations. The lake maintains safety protocols including mandatory dive buddies, proper lighting equipment, and visibility checks. Our underwater structures illuminated by divers' lights create unique exploration opportunities while maintaining strict safety standards for after-dark operations.
Event Rentals
Lake Longhorn's 60-acre green space accommodates private events with shaded picnic areas, waterfront views, and electrical/water connections. The venue supports team outings, triathlon club meetings, and family gatherings with flexible setup options. Reservations include lake access for training activities concurrent with event hosting.
Swim Buoy Rentals

What scuba certifications are required?
All non-training divers must present current certification cards. Solo diving requires special documentation. Instructors must show insurance with Lake Longhorn Enterprises listed as additional insured.
Are personal swim buoys required?
Yes, all open-water swimmers must wear personal swim buoys for visibility. Rentals are available on-site at $15 per day if forgotten.
What are operating hours?
Lake access is Monday-Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Night diving sessions require advance reservations outside standard hours.
Can I host private events?

This place is an absolute gem. Very relaxing atmosphere. The owner is really nice and actually caring. She was very helpful and knowledgeable upon check in. My SUP seemed like it was losing air and she made sure I was okay or if I needed anything. Small gestures like that mean a lot. I definitely will be back!

This lake is absolutely beautiful. I caught a turtle and gave him some food and let him go to be on his way. When i get married one day 'if i get married' i want ot to be here. It's amazing. The water is beautiful i highly recommend coming here. The only down side js that it's $15 for a day which is a bit much but it's a ok

I love this place! Me and my friends get some sun and relaxation while swimming. We bring our picnic pot luck lunch and chill all day . Its deep so children will need a life jacket and you will need some kind of floatation device. Swimming teams and Scuba divers are sometimes there and neat to watch them train

Water temp was great, pretty clear for a lake. Liked that there were several items you could swim to. Had kayaks and paddle boards which is great. Would have given 5 stars of they had restrooms and life jackets.

Great place to swim or fish, they have paddle board rentals and covered areas to have a picnic , great family place for sure!! And big rental floats for the kids or to tan on.. Love being able to grill out there also, just gotta bring your own grill.. They also have hammocks that I can relax on and read a good book. After our fun day at the lake I realized that they have a scuba instructor there on site!! Next step time to learn scuba diving! The area is very well kept and clean!!
