T & K Pediatric Services is now offering FREE developmental screenings for your child from birth to 5 years of age. Speech therapy assessment and treatment of communication problems can effectively address a broad range of speech and language delays and disorders in infant, pediatric, and adult patients with communicative, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
A speech therapist will create a treatment plan with a focus on developing or re-establishing communication skills. Techniques for speech therapy can improve communication and include articulation therapy, language intervention activities, and other strategies to improve both spoken and written language obstacles more effectively.

Master's degree preferred but at a minimum must have a Bachelor's degree in their discipline. The ideal candidates would also have some background in Nursing, Social Work or Special Education with an emphasis in early childhood special education.
