Programs
Report
At Basic Beginnings we provide a loving and warm environment for your child. We believe that all children learn best when they feel safe and secure. Your child will be held, cuddled and sung to throughout the day. We offer our teachers regular, ongoing training in Early Childhood Education, so that they may best attend to the needs of your child at this most important stage of development.
Infants
Report
Our team of infant teachers are certified, educated early childhood professionals and are CPR and first aid certified. Each teacher is required to maintain their accreditation through professional development trainings designed to supplement their many years of experience with new ideas and up to date initiatives.
Toddlers
Report
Each toddler room provides a nurturing learning environment, which allows your child to develop at their own pace. Children are provided with theme-based activities through art, fine motor, music, sensory, and more. We also offer an outdoor play area and an indoor gross motor room when the children are unable enjoy the outdoors because of inclement weather.
Preschool
Report
Our preschool program is for children at 2.9 years of age through 4 years. Our classrooms are designed to allow children to explore and promote learning through hands on experiences in a nurturing, educational, and happy environment. We use a strong literacy-based curriculum that incorporates each area of academics daily.
Pre-Kindergarten
Report
Our Pre-Kindergarten program is for 4 and 5 year olds. Here children will continue to learn and expand upon the same curriculum from our preschool program but with a focus on kindergarten readiness. Our goal is to teach children the necessary skills they will need to excel. Children in both groups are assessed throughout the year to ensure that each child is learning in all areas of development.
