Drop-off an Pick up times 7 days per week 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. by scheduled apt. What to bring? We highly recommend that you bring your dog's regular food, as well as any medications or supplements that your dog has been taking. Changes to the diet can cause stress to the digestive tract and that can make for an unhappy, stressful dog.
Grooming

Frances offers basic grooming which includes, bathing, nail clipping, blow dry, ear cleaning, trimming around the feet or ears, mild mat removal, brushing and de-shedding. Frances does not provide clipping or shearing services. Professional dog grooming is also available. Laurel from Dogwoods is a licensed graduate of the New York School of Grooming.

About 8 months ago we adopted a one year old hound mix named Darla. She is wonderful with people and other dogs but she had a myriad of issues that were most likely due to neglect during Darla's first year. She had a fear of sudden sounds, aversion to walking in or out of doors, and was nearly impossible to leash walk.
Nature Walks

The dogs boarding at Puddleduck can enjoy a 30-minute nature walk on the mowed paths and trails that meander through the manicured property of Puddleduck. Either Frances or one of her dog-friendly staff will walk your canine friend through lush fields, past beautiful ponds and on the trails. If your dog enjoys the company of other canine friends, it can easily be arranged to bring along one of Frances' personal dogs.
