The unpaved lane from the main road deadends just past the cabin in the Moshannon State Forest providing access to nearly 200,000 acres of wooded mountain wilderness. Situated on eight private acres, deer, turkey, fox and an occasional bear have been known to make their way past the Lodge.

The suite also accommodates overflow from our Victorian Loft Bed & Breakfast quite often - Penn State football and graduation weekends, Clearfield County Fair Week and Groundhog Day visitors who must see Punxsutawney Phil.
