Weber's Greenhouses is located at 4215 North Green Bay Avenue. The property, which measures less than one acre, was a family owned business that served a neighborhood clientele that has shifted over the years. Weber's, founded in 1931 by Frank Weber, originally sold retail flowers. Frank's son and grandson expanded the business in the late '70s to develop and expand a garden center.
Since the founding of Teens Grow Greens in 2014, the organization has utilized Webers Greenhouses as an experiential learning facility; where Teens grow plants from seed and practice their teamwork and entrepreneurship skills by selling plants. In March of 2018, Teens Grow Greens Inc. purchased the property so that we could employ more Graduates of TGG, give overtime hours to the Teens, and create a home base and community hub.

I am a senior at Riverside University High School. This is my third year being a part of Teens Grow Greens. After my internship, I was hired at Weber's Greenhouse as an Agricultural Apprentice so I could further promote the mission of TGG in the community. TGG has taught me to stand for leadership and healthy living and has given me opportunities to do so, like helping with the basketball tournament last year to raise money for TGG.
