Shipman Auto Parts was founded in 1935 by Charley Shipman. Charley's son Marv Shipman took over the business when his father passed away in 1946. Marv continued to build the business until he retired in 1998. Marv's son Dan Shipman and previous store manager Glen Knowlen purchased the business from Marv and are the current owners.
