To ensure total customer satisfaction, we include our clients in each step of the repair process and invite all of our customers to work with us on their aircraft in our facility. As much as possible, we keep our customers informed about available repair options, enabling our clients to make more effective decisions regarding maintenance and upgrades.
The hard work of Foothills Aviation's employees-with more than 100 years of combined repair experience-has paid off greatly over almost a decade. We have grown and maintained a loyal, consistent customer base. We constantly look for ways to improve the services we offer. Industry leaders have recognized our workmanship as well.

About the Owner
Report
I grew up on a small farm in Shoshone County, Idaho. Like all small farms, we were pretty much self-sustaining: Most of our food was grown except for the staples (sugar, flour, salt, pepper, etc.). We also had milk cows, which I hated to milk. At 15 years of age, my step-dad and I weren't getting along.
Our Staff
Report
Mechanical things have always fascinated Craig. He rebuilt a 3hp Briggs and Stratton engine when he was eight and built a go-cart with his brothers. As a teen and a young man, he built hot rods and VW-powered sand rails. He worked on the family farm maintaining equipment for 30 years. For the last 10 of those years, he also worked in the nursery industry as an equipment operator, which involved maintaining and manufacturing specialized equipment.

2018 Buhl Fly-In, What a Blast
Report
Our Fly-In was a hit with pilots flying to compete in the Spot Landing Competition from as far away as Alpine, Wyoming, and Nampa, Idaho. Over 40 years separated the oldest pilot from the youngest pilot. The oldest plane flown to the Fly-In was built during Word War II. The Buhl Rotary and B&L Meats both sold out breakfast and lunch.
