Dr Astacio graduated from the University of Puerto Rico school of medicine and finished his residency as the chief pediatric resident. Within pediatrics he cultivates interest on pediatric dermatology. He served as the Chairman of the Pediatric Department at Southern Regional Medical Center. McDonough Children's Specialist opened its doors in 1997 and is now seeing the children of our former children.
