Coffee is roasted & delivered weekly by a local expert and owner of Bason Coffee Roasters. Elizabeth's An American Bistro embodies a dream that chef and owner Elizabeth Long-Furia brought to life over 22 years ago. Elizabeth's has become a dining destination in central Pennsylvania and has incorporated catering and baking services to help our patrons celebrate their many life events. From traveling through central Europe at a young age, Chef Liz grew passionate about seasonal, regional food.

Since we closed our doors in March, Elizabeth's has been looking forward to welcoming you back to dine in! We are taking Governor Wolf's recommendations, along with protocols we have been developing during closure based on CDC, PA Dept. of Health & PA Restaurant & Lodging Association guidelines, to prepare to do so.

Wednesday through Saturday from 2 to 5 PM come in for small plates and drink specials in our wine bar area. Seasonal and regional three course tasting menu available Wednesday to Saturday for $30.20 plus tax. The menu varies every two weeks. Come join us from 5 to 9 PM as we pop the top off 3 of our specially selected bottles and offer them as a trio by the glass.

One of the joys of writing this column for so many years (since 1987, dear readers) is the opportunity it provides to travel the region and see, experience and enjoy the many cities, towns and villages of Central PA.

A perfect solution to cabin fever. Tired of our own cooking, we took advantage of the opportunity to order pick-up meals from Elizabeth's. It was up to their usual standards and highest quality. Started with the octopus appetizer, and it was incredible. Also had several of their salads, both made with fresh local greens and excellent home made dressings.
