Management Essentials
To explore, to reach higher, to experience the joy of discovering their very best selves. So by the time our students graduate, they're ready to succeed in whatever paths they choose. Here, we don't put girls in a box. We take them outside to get their hands dirty. Watch them tinker in our iWonder Lab maker space and Innovation Center to ignite their curiosity and creativity.

Because here, she will be empowered by all that's possible. Because we know girls, and our girls are known. From PreKindergarten through senior year, Agnes Irwin nurtures the journey of self-discovery and empowers girls to recognize that they can do anything they set their minds to. Preparing girls to lead and succeed is in our DNA.

About
Report
150 years ago, we were founded by Miss Agnes Irwin, the great-great granddaughter of Benjamin Franklin, first Dean of Radcliffe College, and advocate for the education of girls and young women - a radical concept in her time. Today, Miss Irwin's legacy serves as our inspiration.

In our Upper, Middle, and Lower independent girls schools, everything our students experience is rooted in what's best for girls: how they learn, how their brains develop, and what their social and emotional needs are.We know that when they feel known, understood, supported, and challenged, girls are empowered to be their very best selves.

Strategic Plan
Report
For nearly 150 years, The Agnes Irwin School has pioneered girls' education. Today, Agnes Irwin is stronger than ever. Our strategic plan, Leading Girls' Education, will guide us as we work to ensure that AIS continues to be a leader in girls' education for the next 150 years - and beyond.

The four strategic initiatives outlined in the Plan - Ignite Curiosity and Creativity, Energize Our Educators, Enrich Our Community, Secure Our Future - represent mandates from our community, communicated clearly and consistently in survey responses and in focus group discussions with over 1,300 participants. For the five years of the Plan, our School will focus on these areas.
