Founded in 1869 by Agnes Irwin, a pioneering advocate for girls' education, our institution has dedicated over 150 years to empowering young women through a rigorous, research-driven curriculum tailored specifically for girls. Our mission centers on nurturing self-discovery, fostering leadership, and preparing students for college and life beyond through a holistic approach that integrates academic excellence, wellness, and character development. With a faculty renowned for expertise in girl-centered pedagogy, we offer a transformative educational experience from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Our graduates consistently gain admission to top-tier colleges, with 100% of the Class of 2025 attending one of their top college choices. The Center for the Advancement of Girls, unique to our school, infuses cutting-edge research into our programs, ensuring our students develop the confidence and skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our 26-acre campus in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, provides a vibrant learning environment enriched by state-of-the-art facilities, including innovation labs, performing arts centers, and athletic complexes.

We maintain a low student-faculty ratio, ensuring personalized attention and fostering meaningful connections. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion ensures every student feels valued and supported. Through programs like the Special Studies Program, which sends students abroad for experiential learning, we cultivate global perspectives.
