Celebrating longtime tennis executive and Wilmington native Jeff Harrison. Jeff Harrison currently serves as a Director for the USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association. Harrison has been active in the area tennis scene since his days as a standout player for the University of Delaware.

Harrison was also the general manager and co-owner of the Delaware Smash, a former World TeamTennis franchise founded by sports icon Billie Jean King. Harrison was inducted into the USTA Middle States Hall of Fame in 2017. RodneyStreet provides year-round opportunities for Wilmington area youth on and off the tennis court.

What We Do

RodneyStreet is a 501(c)3 organization that provides year-round opportunities for Wilmington area youth on and off the tennis court. RodneyStreet combines athletics, academics, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) programming, field trips and character-building activities. After School Programs - Offered three days a week after school and include one day of weekend match-play per week.

RodneyStreet is an inclusive, non-profit organization that provides high-quality tennis and supportive academic resources to Young People in and around Wilmington. Our programs are designed to develop the potential of our participants and have a positive effect on their life trajectories.
Staff and Instructors

Matt has over 25 years of combined experience in community programs and athletics. Before joining RodneyStreet he was the Director of Youth Services at Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center where he managed key community partnerships, oversaw the summer program implementation, and supervised overall school-age programming.
After School
Report
RodneyStreet's after school program consists of on-court tennis instruction, life skills and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities, for Pre-K-12th grade students. We work closely with families and schools to create a supportive environment for each child to learn, grow, and develop a healthy lifestyle.
Outreach
Report
RodneyStreet partners with local schools, community centers, and other organizations to introduce tennis and life skills throughout the academic year. Our outreach programs compliment and reinforce the values, culture, and learning provided at these community sites, while adding an introduction to the lifetime sport of tennis.
