It is now a community hub, a market for locally-produced food and a destination eatery for people from far and wide. We offer a simple menu, with high quality breakfasts; lunches; order-ahead dinners; brunch on the weekends; and (soon!) Sunday community dinners. And of course, good coffee! PS: Everything can be made to go.

About the Caf
Report
The Peacham Caf is a community-supported enterprise. It is operated by a Manager who rents the space, and is owned and maintained for the benefit of the community by the Peacham Caf LLC. The LLC in turn is a subsidiary of Peacham Community Housing, a local non-profit provider of elderly housing. The LLC is run by a group of 7 community volunteers.
Our Story
Report
This is where we started. The building at the far right was called the Bus Barn, but it hadn't had any thing but old refrigerators in it for years. Before that it was the town Fire Station. We thought it could become a caf. This is almost the whole group. From left, Joe Alper, Barry Lawson, Betsy McKay, Susan McClellan, Dave Edwards, Charlie Byron, and Ruth Marceau.
FAQ: The Concept
Report
Peacham has been without a daily market since the Bayley-Hazen Store in South Peacham closed about 12 years ago. A lot of residents have missed having a local place to go for coffee, food and conversation. This is especially important for our seniors. Renovating the old Union Store into a caf will give us back our community hub.
