East Texas Twisters has been providing recreational and competitive tumbling, cheerleading, and gymnastics in Canton Texas and the surrounding areas of East Texas since 1979. East Texas Twisters gives your kids a head start with our gymnastics, cheerleading, and tumbling programs. We accept students from 18 months to 18 years old!
We offer high-quality cheerleading programs for all ages. Our coaches strive to instill teamwork, leadership skills, and commitment through our Competitive Cheer Program. We have found a fun way through our Competitive Gymnastics program to not only teach skills but also perseverance, courage, and teamwork.

East Texas Twisters has three locations: Canton, Mineola, and Mabank. The original Canton facility was opened in 1979 and has been providing quality tumbling, gymnastics and cheerleading training to East Texas for many years. In 2000, we built a new 12,000-square-foot dream facility in Canton with competitive spring floors, foam pit, trampolines, gymnastic equipment, upstairs studios, plus much more.

Gymnastics helps a child gain strength and balance, be more flexible and improve hand-eye coordination. Gymnastics is a way for kids to keep active and it teaches fitness. Gymnastics classes are also a place for kids to make friends in a safe, supervised environment and teaches them to follow instruction.
