Established in 1890, Encinal Yacht Club is one of the oldest sailing clubs in the Bay Area, and has long offered and supported an active and successful Junior Sailing program for Bay Area youth - both EYC members and non-members alike.
The mission of the EYC Junior Sailing Program is to instill a lifelong love and respect for the sport of sailing, while providing the fundamental skills necessary for participants to advance as far as they desire. The program will provide a current and effective curriculum, developing skilled and self-reliant sailors who will respect others, care for their equipment and the marine environment and will help fellow sailors on and off the water.

Reciprocal Clubs

Reciprocity is the policy under which special advantages are granted by one side in consideration of same by the other. Membership in the Encinal Yacht Club includes the privilege of visiting other clubs that recognize EYC as a reciprocal organization. It is advisable that the members contact any club they plan to visit in advance to avoid disappointment upon arrival.

Encinal Yacht Club offers an extensive racing program throughout the year. Highlights of our calendar include the annual Coastal Cup Race, the Commodore's Cup, and the Jack Frost Midwinter series. We also have an active Friday night series during the summer months, as well as an active small boat fleet.
Paddle Club

One of the most enjoyable ways to explore our beautiful estuary is by paddle! Come join our growing paddle community of kayakers, stand-up paddlers and rowers. The goal of the EYC Paddle Club is simple: to create more options for our members to get out on the water and make the most of this beautiful spot in the bay.
