Hearing? We never appreciate the value of good hearing, until we lose that which we have always taken for granted. Similarly, we never appreciate a specially caring and talented vendor like Dr. Larry Cardano, without having experienced others. The most difficult part of not being able to hear is constantly having to ask people repeat what they have said to you. The most significant improvements for me in getting a hearing aid from Hearing Center of LI was being able to hear my grandchildren talking to me and understanding what they are saying to me instead of only getting part of their conversation. Also, being able to join in talks with family and friends instead of just pretending to hear. I would tell anyone who has a hearing problem that they should not be afraid. Mom could not hear for about two years, finally having to yell to communicate was getting so stressful and causing so many arguments that she agreed to come to the hearing center right here in Valley Stream. Dr Cardano was awesome, he has a great personality and he made her feel very comfortable with the testing and analysis of her needs. The past two years have been night and day - Mom can now communicate in person, she can talk on the phone, and we don't walk in and hear the tv at max volume anymore LOL A better home life and a lot less stress! NOW TODAY I stopped in to have her Hearing Aid Filters

The Audiologists as well as the staff are kind, caring and respectful. Whenever I have to take a hearing test I end up crying because the results show me how hearing impaired I really am. I am NEVER made to feel inferior. The office is run like clockwork. Thank you Hearing Center of Long Island

There is no comparison to any other Hearing aid center. Dr. Cardano and his office staff are second to none. I cannot rave any more about their care, professionalism, concern, cooperative attitude, kindness, efficiency - something that is very rare these days.
