My name is Amy Comparetto, and I'm the owner and founder of Figaro Music Studios. I started taking lessons when I was 7 years old, and began teaching five years later. I've continued my music education by studying the cello under Kate Jensik and Min Lee, music theory under Bill Fletcher of St. Paul's School, and piano lessons under Roxana Bajdechi Frizzi in Boston.

At our studio, kids learn all their songs at the lesson, at least for the entire first year. When they go home, they already know how to play their songs so it's fun to practice! Our piano teachers are caring and supportive. Some students want to make piano a serious study, but most kids just want to have a fun experience and learn something cool.

Not only is it fun to learn an instrument, there's nothing better for your brain than to train it to do something it's never done before. And your teacher will make you play nothing but scales and Mary Had a Little Lamb for months on end. Are you a busy doctor, a stay-at-home mom, or doing anything else that leaves you with almost zero free time left in your day?

We require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule your lesson, with special exception given if your child is sick (if this is the case, please let us know as soon as you can). Please do not use this rescheduler less than 24 hours in advance of your child's lesson time. 2. Due to the nature of our program, it's fine for students to have a lesson with a different teacher.
